Spring Cleaning with Self Compassion

It’s Spring! The season of tulips, daffodils, and… decluttering?

If the prevalence of Spring Cleaning media makes you want to curl up into a ball and hide… I’ve got something for you!

Spring Cleaning with Self Compassion is my new coaching program for anyone that feels shame, heaviness, or dread around caring for their home. If you’d like to feel carefree and excited about spring cleaning, but instead you feel like you can never do it right… let’s talk!

Spring Cleaning with Self Compassion is a 4 session, one-on-one coaching package, where we will take a look at what’s getting in the way of you having the home you feel good about. My approach is always client-led, and fueled by curiosity and compassion. During our sessions together, we’ll focus on your priorities and challenges. Some examples of topics we could cover are:

  • Understand how you currently think about your home.

  • Uncover your beliefs about decluttering and cleaning.

  • Find out how external expectations are bossing you around.

  • Explore your relationship with stuff and acquiring.

  • Consider how you want your home to feel, look and function.

  • Get into what’s getting in the way of having your ideal home.

  • Identify specific goals for your home.

  • Explore how you can achieve your goals, looking for strategies that work for you.

I’m not going to push cleaning checklists or decluttering how-to’s (that’s not even my specialty.) Instead, I’ll help you explore how you’re thinking about decluttering, cleaning, your stuff, and what’s getting in the way of having the home environment that you yearn for. And we’ll do all this without judgment, comparing to others, or shame. In fact, we’ll emphasize showing yourself kindness and compassion throughout.

If you’re not sure if this is right for you, I encourage you to sign up for an Introductory Session (it’s free!) so we can talk through your specific questions and needs. I’d love to chat with you!
