Bring Ease to the Overwhelm

Well, hello there! My coaching business has been in reboot mode for a few months, and I’m happy to say the reboot is complete. Let me tell you about it.

The type of coaching I do hasn’t changed, but I’m bringing some focus to it, by emphasizing a common challenge that is near and dear to my heart: overwhelm.

Bringing ease to the overwhelm.

We often attribute overwhelm to busyness, but the core issues usually go beyond a packed calendar. Sure, having a mile-long to-do list can play into that “it’s all too much!” feeling, but there are usually other factors in the mix… factors that life coaching excels at addressing.

Here are some things we might explore as we delve into your overwhelm:

  • Learning to notice and question your unhelpful thoughts

  • Rooting out perfectionism

  • Challenging negative self-talk

  • Questioning with curiosity

  • Treating yourself with compassion

  • Feeling your feelings (even the hard ones)

  • Getting clear on what’s truly important to you

  • Exploring mindfulness in ways that resonate with you

  • Differentiating societal norms from your true self

  • Setting goals that are meaningful to you

  • Approaching habit change with self-compassion and joy

  • Setting and holding clear boundaries

  • Finding time management and workflow tools that are uniquely effective for you

  • Cultivating confidence in living life as your authentic self

Surprised that all these factors could lead to overwhelm? It’s easy to blame busy schedules and to-do lists, but often, the true causes run deeper. Life coaching techniques are excellent at uncovering what’s really going on behind the overwhelm. It’s possible to have a full calendar, a long to-do list and experience ease.

As a recovering overwhelmed person, I’m genuinely thrilled to bring this focus to my coaching practice. I know, firsthand, what it’s like to feel like you’re perpetually behind, drowning in responsibility, letting people down, and doing it all wrong. With the guidance of a wonderful life coach, I was able to address these challenges, and I’m eager to provide the same service to others. Bringing ease to overwhelm means a lot to me.

Alongside my new coaching focus, I’ve restructured my coaching program to increase simplicity and affordability. My monthly Ease the Overwhelm Coaching Program includes 2 one-on-one coaching sessions, weekly check-ins (for encouragement, accountability, or whatever you need), and text access to me for a flat fee of $120/month. Read more about it here.

A gift for you!

As I embark on this reboot amid the holidays, I thought it’s only fitting to kick it off with a gift! p.s. I talked about Holiday stress and overwhelm a lot last year. This blog post is a great place to establish how you want your holidays to feel… which, I’m just guessing, is not “overwhelmed.” 😉
